This Privacy Policy explains how Matthew R Scott Pty Ltd (ABN 70 691 105 861) (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, holds and discloses your personal information when you visit matthewrscott.com, use our free tools, subscribe to our emails, or apply to the Escape Velocity program.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). By using this website you agree to the handling of your information as described here.

The information we collect

We only collect what we need to run the site and stay in touch with people who ask us to.

Information you give us. When you opt in to the free guide or newsletter, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your first name. When you apply to Escape Velocity or contact us, we collect the details you choose to send, such as your name, email and information about your business.
Usage information. Like most websites, we collect basic analytics about how the site is used, such as pages viewed, approximate location (derived from your IP address, not stored as a precise location), device and browser type, and referring links. We use this to understand what is useful and improve the site.
What our tools do not collect. Our free tools, including the Margin Calculator, ABA File Converter, PDF Fill, Pallet Calculator and Stand / Sit Timer, run entirely in your browser. The files, numbers and documents you work on are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to us or stored on our servers.

How we use your information

To send you the free guide and, if you have opted in, our newsletter and updates.
To respond to your enquiries and process applications to our program.
To operate, secure, maintain and improve the website and our tools.
To process payments for any paid products you choose to buy.
To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in the footer of every email. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

This website is intended for business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
